5 Minute Joe is a new discovery I recently made.  It was created by the folks at point and click who I have worked with in Freebie Trading.  It’s really pretty cool and a way to make quick cash doing something you probably already do!  If you are on facebook and have used those silly applications they have on there, like what character are you like.  Then you are already doing what it takes to make money with 5 minute Joe.  It costs nothing to get started and takes five minutes tops!  Guess that’s why they call it five minute Joe!  This is not something you will make huge money with, but every little bit counts in my opinion!!

So how does it work?  Basically “Joe” sends you an application every day, you open it, complete it and post it to your profile.  They like you to complete about 5 every week.  It literally has taken me 3 minutes at the most to complete each one.  That’s it!  Then eventually as the app spreads you make commissions on your link being connected to the app.  I don’t completely understand how that part works, but what I gather is your link gets associated with the app, so when others open it and it has your link, you get credit.

Writing: Among the Effective Ways to Earn Extra Cash

If there is one consolation behind the bad economy, it is that people learn how to make the most out of their sense of ingenuity. Can you write a good sentence? Then writing is among the ways to earn cash fast, be a freelance writer!

Don’t fret if you don’t have a degree in English because you can definitely write as if you are just telling your story or teaching about a subject. You can make money from web content, and other media. Sell the articles to various sites. Although you won’t get great pay from this, it is among the good ways to earn extra cash. Furthermore, you can be of service to those sites that specialize in hiring freelance writers. Typically, you can see a job board among different websites wherein you can spot the posts of those individuals who are on the search for a good writer. Post your interest of being hired as well, in the end you can decide whether to accept or refuse them.

Another benefit of this specific way to earn extra cash is that you can actually work in the comfort of your home; hence you’ll have time for things like, laundry and your baby’s diaper changes(if you have a baby of course!). This is the reason why more and more moms are voting to leave their 8-hour job and just settle at home to work as a freelance writer. But as was stated above, you can’t expect to have a good amount of cash flowing into your bank account per month in this kind of work. You can expect to earn some extra cash though, which can be helpful.

Freelancer.com – place where you can see postings for jobs as a freelancer and bid on them.

Ehow.com – You can apply to be a writer on ehow, also you can post articles and earn some income if your articles become popular.

Articlebase.com – You can earn money if your articles become popular

Squidoo.com – You create Lenses and these lenses can earn you money. Lenses are a web page, that you post a couple of articles on along with some other related modules. You are able to earn money by people clicking on advertising on your lens.

Freebie Trading Forums are a fantastic place for Freebie Traders to get started making money and establishing their business.  It is great because you can learn a lot about the industry of Freebie Trading and you meet other Freebie Traders you can net work with.  Once you are an established Freebie Trader in Method 2 (Getting your own Referrals) then you might find you would like to expand your Freebie Trading business to include marketing outside of Forums as well as on Forums.  I think this is a great addition to Forum marketing.  Forum Marketing is very effective and usually will get you the most busniness, but you can add to your referrals by going outside of the Forums.

There are many ways to market your Freebie Trading business outside of Forums.  Here are 10 things you can do to start marketing your site today.

• Create a blog ( I would recommend your own domain and a word press blog, but you might want to do that after having some experience with a free option like blogger or wordpress.com)
• Create a Squidoo Lens
• Create a Hub page
• Join Twitter, Pick a key word optimized name (an example might be make money) See my posts on twitter for more detailed information on this.
• Write an ehow post
• Join other forums (read rules!) and put your blog url in your signature
• Advertise on Craigs List
• Advertise on flyers on campuses and local shops
• Advertise on Free Classifieds
• Bookmark (digg, stumble it, etc) all of your posts on your blog, squidoo, hub pages.  I use Traffic Bug which submits to multiple sites, it’s terrific, but does cost about $20 a month (they do offer a free trial though!)

The thirty day challenge is an incredible free opportunity to receive training on how to make your first dollar online.  The techniques taught are ones used by very successful internet marketers.  Not only do the teach you techniques but they give you some amazing tools to work with!

So far this Thirty Day Challenge, they have added some incredible modules to the Market Samari Software.  This is an amazing software for Key Word, Niche research that I have been using.  But these new modules are incredible.  There is now the ability to research your niche, and publish content right from market samari.  You can also research your affiliate products you want to promote, and then create and publish an add right from Market Samari.

Another great tool they have added is the Traffic Bug tool.  This is an amazing web based software that allows you to bookmark your sites, submit to directories and more with little effort.  It cuts the time in half (or perhaps more) it would take you without it.

This Thirty Day Challenge I am working on a new blog and niche and it is really fun!  I also plan to use all I learn on my existing blogs!  Thank you Ed Dale, Dan Raine and Guru Bob (and the rest of the 30dc crew too!!) for the amazing training you are offering!!

MARKET SAMURAI

I have been using a software called Market Samurai for the past year for researching niches and keywords.  It’s a great asset to anyone looking for ways to earn extra cash with blogging and affiliate marketing.  It’s an amazing software for Keyword research, back linking, researching new or existing niches, checking out competition in various niches and so much more.  It even has a feature for seeing quickly where your site ranks on various keywords as well as the competitor for the top 10 sites for a particular keyword.

I originally found out about Market Samurai though the thirty day challenge in August of 2008.  The software has had continual updates and just keeps getting better!!  I just downloaded their most recent update and it’s amazing!!  You can now search affiliate products right in Market Samurai.  It is a super quick way to see if things are selling in your niche and if there are products out there you could use as an affiliate.  It literally saves hours of work!

After getting into Freebie Trading and earning money online, I got the bug!  I started to explore otherways to make money online, and how I could take my Freebie Trading business to the next level off the forums as well as working on the forums.  In the process of exploring the various possibilities out there, my friend Karen Kramer introduced me to the Thirty Day Challenge in 2008.  I learned so much from the training the thirty day challenge offered.  It started me on my path to blogging and really got me addicted to internet marketing and the process of ways to earn extra cash online.

So WHAT IS THE THIRTY DAY CHALLENGE?  The Thirty Day Challenge is a FREE (yes you heard that right) course on how to make your first dollar online.  Only one dollar you might say, but if you can earn one dollar with what you create, you will certainly have the possibility and knowledge to make more!  The Training is created by Ed Dale, Dan Raine, Guru Bob and many other incredible Internet Marketers!  The actual training is top notch, it is geared to allow somebody with absolutely no experience to get started with their own business online.  If you have experience, it will teach you all the new tips and techniques  that are up and coming.  Ed has predicted the path of many game changers in internet marketing like, twitter and facebook.  The thirty day challenge team investigates what is working and what isn’t and then teaches step by step how to get started.  There are terrific resources that they offer and they are ALL free during the challenge.  The most you might spend is on your domain name which is usually under $10.

The Thirty Day Challenge starts August 1st of each year (so it just started- still time to sign up if you want!) and goes through the end of August.  There is one lesson every day (so really it’s 31 days-but that didn’t sound as good!).  If you can’t finish it in August , that is ok since you can download the lessons via itunes and use them as you are able to.  That’s how I did it last year.  This year I will be doing it during the month- so I will be busy!!
